Equitable Federal Contractor Workplaces

Require public disclosure of compensation gaps

Description :

Require public disclosure of federal contractor and subcontractor compensation gaps by gender, race, and ethnicity. Pay equity is simultaneously an economic issue and a racial and gender equity issue, because women as well as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Pacific Islander workers experience the largest gaps in pay when compared to their white male counterparts. As good faith actors and in pursuit of full transparency, all contractors and subcontractors should, for the duration of their federal contract, produce and publicly disclose compensation gaps disaggregated by—at a minimum—gender, race, and ethnicity as well as the efforts being taken to close these gaps.
