I am 61, Hispanic, and on a double transplant list, the company found out put me in short term disability,then sent me a termination letter and then lied to Unemploment and said that I voluntarily quit. Workers Fired Over Vaccines Should Get Enhanced Unemployment

During the pandemic, healthcare workers labored without vaccines, and many people not working collected enhanced unemployment. Now that these same healthcare workers are being fired for declining the COVID-19 vaccines, they should receive the same level of enhanced unemployment that everyone else received.

I feel that since the unemployment workers have been working at home they should have to work to get people unemployment without bias. there are many people that have filed for unemployment that have had their unemployment allowed but still have not received any payments, and if a person gives unemployment all the information they ask for there shouldn't be a hold up of benefits. Employer hiring for a position should not be able to report to D.O.L a candidate who refuses a job. Some of them out there hiring part time, minimum wage and not providing benefits (which part timers don't get). The cards need to be reshuffled.
