In order to create an equality and inclusion in the federal workforce major issues with the EEO processes within the agencies need to be addressed as well as blatant bias within the EEOC. 1 major issue with the agency's EEO process is the agency failure to follow MD 110 regarding investigations. Online Accounts & Special Case Claims Edited

I understand the UI system is setup to meet most case scenarios. However, some cases fall under special circumstances that cause undue hardship and stress through claim denials, delays in fund distributions, a lot of extra work/printing/postage sending denial and information notices via snail-mail, etc.; sometimes repeatedly and ongoing complications due to honest answers to questions flagging the application for review....... more »

Where are you posting job ads? Edited

Community Member kudos icon + Community member
Job ads have been historically marketed to only certain sectors of our society - white, educated and tech-savvy individuals. To increase diversity of job applicants, employers should be required to post their jobs on numerous sites including sites that cater to different ethnicities, languages, etc. If you're looking for diverse job applicants, you'll need to share beyond the average job ad platforms.

Educating Employers in ALL Types of Diversity Edited

Community Member kudos icon + Community member
When people hear about diversity trainings, their minds go straight race discrimination. That is not the case, though. Diversity and implicit bias training are topics that are becoming popular for workplaces. So popular, that a lot of people are starting to think that these trainings are becoming a fad. Diversity is about race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disabilities, socioeconomic, education background, etc. Employers... more »

Collect data who gets employed much like the census. Edited

Go to the jobsite and collect basic data on who gets employed and how long they worked there. The true data will show any illegal trends. As a census taker I went to homes and collected raw data that was not reported. This can be done for every business.

As a reseacher we could see the trends in any system. Just like on Glassdoor the more data the more you know about the company the clearer you see that company.

Separate but equal Edited

Community Member kudos icon + Community member
Back in 1896 the U.S. Supreme Court under skewed judgement made a mistaken determination in PLESSY v.. FERGUSON, 163 U.S. 537, 16 S.Ct. 1138, 41 L.Ed. 256 (May 18, 1896.) "Separate but Equal" was rendered. This was corrected through Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954)  where the Court correctly determined that equality is without any bias or discrimination or it is not Equal.
